In this 13-minute black comedy-drama set in the 90’s, Angela, a precocious 11-yo Catholic school girl, comes to believe she is pregnant after witnessing something strange in a swimming pool. The core structure of Immaculate is built on a double misunderstanding. Sister Mary Humilitas, a hip young nun, is eager to fill in the gaps in Angela’s sex education, but her strange blackboard drawings feed the confusion further, rather than clearing it up.
